Join us on 23 September to learn more about the implications of the new Listing Rules for your M&A process
We would like to invite you to join us at this event which will consider the practical implications of the upcoming changes to the Listing Rules for listed companies contemplating significant transactions (acquisitions or disposals).
The FCA has acknowledged that these proposals reflect a significant transfer of risk to investors and that “moving to a more disclosure-based system will require … a laser focus on the rigour of disclosure”. Directors of listed companies will need to determine how best to engage with their investors in their own specific circumstances when significant transactions are being contemplated.
This event is aimed at directors of listed companies and those senior members of the management team (e.g. company secretary, head of M&A, financial controller) who advise the board in connection with significant transactions.
We will help you understand the requirements of the new Listing Rules so you can plan early to assess your disclosure and comfort/diligence approach, execute a successful transaction and communicate value to your shareholders.
Our speakers include specialists from our Capital Markets, Deal Advisory and Transaction Services team as well as Jamie Corner, a partner at the international law firm, Simmons & Simmons, whose practice focuses on transactions by or involving listed companies.
